Think back to when you were a kid and the new car show would roll into town. It used to be an immensely big deal. Of course, everything's larger than life, when you're about three or four feet tall. The concept cars, all the new car models, the spokesmodels who looked and sounded more like movie stars or super models - the whole experience was a feast for any young person's five senses.

His choices are all of upscale, full size family cars. If your interests lean more towards American pony or muscle cars, some of your picks probably aren't included in this video. In that case, you and I would be in agreement. Still, it's enlightening to see how much attention to detail the big three American automakers interior designers gave to autos during this glorious span of the American auto industry.
